I finally have a way around the network issues that helps!

By adding the code ?format=light or the new one that was pointed out to me today ?style=mine to the end of the entry address I can actually see the entry!!! Still don't have a solution to viewing whole journals that aren't loading, bar moving off campus. But this way at least I can read almost all of the entries that show up on my friends page even if I can't go trolling through some peoples actually journal!

Also Project Runway Australia episode!!!! ARRGGGHH! Seriously! Why?! Put it this way some people really need to be eliminated and others I can't believe they're are gone *sobs*

It's a bitch to have to type ?style=mine or ?format=light behind addresses all the time, you should get a button that does it for you. (You can get the code for that and instructions for how to implement it here (http://tvm.livejournal.com/188514.html). The only code given is for style=mine, but to get a format=light code just substitute format=light in for style=mine at the end of the code.)

Also, ?style=mine should work for seeing entire journals as well...can you see this (http://ifyouweremine.livejournal.com/?style=mine)? It's a link to my journal, but it should show up in your journal layout.

Thanks for the awesome tip. I'm now trying to find something silmilar for IE7. But things seem to be conspiring against me and it look like I'll have to give in and finally start using Firefox, I hate change!

Also the style=mine code does work for journals, thanks for clearing that up as well ^_^
